Born in the south of Holland I grew up in a small, boring village. At a very young age I started to draw animals on my own arms, hand painting the garden walls with chalk and write short stories that made my little world a bit more exciting. At the age of 15 I purchase my first digital 1,3 megapixel camera. I began to translate the stories that exist in my brain, into photographs. With no one around to use as a model, self-portraits were the only way to practice portraits. Maybe that's my secret, knowing how to photograph people, because I know how it feels; I've been the subject of my own art. I graduated art school in 2011 with a mayor in photography. Now living in the north of Holland. I am currently looking for a creative job as a photographer or illustrator.
